Why Come to "Church?"

The "Church" is not a building. It is not a list of Masses and events. It is not a row of seats where people sing and kneel and follow along. Our Church is made up of its people. By coming together, we build each other up and strengthen each other for the journey of life. The challenge of the Eucharist is not just to receive Jesus in the bread and wine, but to carry that gift out to the world in service to others. We come to Church to remember how important God is in our lives and to prepare ourselves to serve others.

A parish is also a family and like any family, functions most efficiently when all its members involve themselves in its life. Please pray where God is calling you to serve your parish family!

What Can I Expect in Visiting St. Mary's?

St. Mary's welcomes visitors at any time, and our parishioners are happy to have you joining them in sharing the faith. Our parish priests and staff are available after Masses to discuss any concerns you may have and to assist you in finding the right parish to suit your needs.

We welcome you to our family, the family of St. Mary of the Assumption Church!
